UPTET - Lucknow: One more held in Teacher Eligibility Test scam



LUCKNOW: Police on Friday raided the house of Dev Kumar, a close aide of former secondary education director, Sanjay Mohan, and recovered cash worth Rs 17 lakh. Mohan was arrested and subsequently suspended after his name surfaced in the Teacher Eligibility Test scam.
According to the police, Dev is a caretaker of the ongoing construction work at Lucknow Public School in Vrindavan Colony at Rae Bareli Road. The school belongs to Mohan. DIG Lucknow Ashutosh Pandey said, "When we went to Dev's house, he told us that this money belongs to Mohan. And when Mohan was arrested, this money was shifted to Dev's house so that it remains in the safe custody.''
