?Court No. - 3

Case :- MISC. SINGLE No. - 1483 of 2014

Petitioner :- Suman Yadav
Respondent :- State Of U.P.Thr.Prin.Secy.(Basic Education) Lucknow & Ors.
Counsel for Petitioner :- Sharad Pathak
Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Ajay Kumar

Hon'ble Rajan Roy,J.
Heard Sri Sharad Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ajay Kumar, learned counsel for the B.S.A. and the learned standing counsel for the State.
The petitioner had appeared in the selection process held for B.T.C. Training Course, 2012, but, had made certain incorrect entry in the online form submitted by her. Instead of 136 marks obtained in High School Examination, she had mentioned 156 marks. There was a clear stipulation in the guideline etc. that if any discrepancy was found in the marks filled by the candidates and those noticed from the documents, the candidature shall not be considered.
The process of selection has already been completed.
In view of the reasons mentioned in the counter affidavit and as noted hereinabove, I do not find any valid ground for interference in the matter at this stage.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is dismissed.
So far as the contention of learned counsel for the petitioner that grace marks awarded to the petitioner in the high school were not taken into consideration at the time of counseling is concerned, it is provided that this plea shall be open in the future counseling as per Rules as and when occasion arises.
