By means of this writ petition the petitioner is seeking transfer from his current posting to the place where his spouse is posted.
Both husband and wife are Police Constable in the U.P. Police. The petitioner is posted at Rampur and his wife is posted at Saharanpur. Both have been selected in the year 2011. They have completed their training and have been sent for posting.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since they are husband and wife, the authorities may consider their posting at one place.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and his wife for being posted at one place since they are both married.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
