Grievance of the petitioner is that for� English and Sanskrit� language B.Ed.� degree is also considered� as� one of the essential qualifications in U.P. Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2013� however, in the case of Urdu language,� B.Ed. degree� has not been� taken into consideration.
Learned counsel for the petitioner urged that this decision of the State Government is discriminatory and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution.
I have heard Sri R.A. Akhtar, learned counsel for the National Council of Teacher Education, Jaipur and Sri J.K.Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel.
Sri Akhtar and Sri J.K.Tiwari pray for and are granted ten days time to seek instructions in the matter.
Put up this case on 17.6.2013 as supplementary fresh.
In the meantime, Principal Secretary, Basic Education Government of U.P. Lucknow may consider the cause of the petitioner and pass� an appropriate speaking� order, if possible, within two� weeks from the date of communication of this order.
Let a copy of this order be supplied to Sri J.K.Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel� without any charge for communication of this order to the authority concerned.
