Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 

The petitioners contend that they have already qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test and have also appeared in the fourth semester BTC examination on 4th and 5th May, 2013. 

In between, an Advertisement has been issued on 3.5.2013 for appointment of Assistant Teachers throughout the State for which online application forms would be received till 3.6.2013. 

The petitioners contend that if their results are declared prior to the said date, they would be eligible to apply for the said post. 

Learned counsel submits that there is no impediment and the result can be declared expeditiously in the event the respondents choose to do so. 

This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 1 that in case it is possible and there is no other difficulty, the respondent No.1 may proceed to consider the request of the petitioner in the light of the facts stated above so that the petitioner may not be deprived of the opportunity to apply for the posts in question.
