उन्नाव। यूपीटीईटी अभ्यर्थियों ने शनिवार को सांसद अन्नू टंडन को ज्ञापन दिया। संगठन के अध्यक्ष अध्यक्ष अतुल तिवारी ने सांसद को बताया कि टीईटी में उ.प्र. में प्राथमिक स्तर पर लगभग 2 लाख 70 हजार अभ्यर्थी सफल हुए। इसमें प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी ने आवेदन के क्रम में लगभग 10 हजार रुपए खर्च किए। सत्ता परिवर्तन के साथ ही इस प्रक्रिया पर अनिश्चितता के बादल मड़राने लगे हैं। जिससे अभ्यर्थियों के मन मे निराशा उत्पन्न हो रही है। अभ्यर्थियों ने सांसद से इस मामले को संसद में उठाने की मांग की। ज्ञापन देने वालों में अमित त्रिपाठी, संदीप, देवेंद्र, अनूप, आनंद, अचल आदि अन्य अभ्यर्थी उपस्थित रहे। विधानसभा सफीपुर के विकासखंड फतेहपुर चौरासी के जमुनिहा कच्छ के मजरा बघौरा अग्निकांड पीड़ितों को सांसद अन्नू टंडन ने राहत सामग्री बांटी। सांसद ने कहा कि दु:ख की घड़ी में वह उनके साथ हैं। अग्निकांड में राधेलाल व नियाज अहमद का घर व अन्य सामग्री जल गई। इन दोनों के बेटियों का विवाह इसी महीने था। जिस पर सांसद ने ढाढस बंधाते हुए हर संभव सहायता का आश्वासन दिया। इस अवसर पर अनूप कुमार मेहरोत्रा आदि उपस्थित रहे।

Annu Tandon (b. 1957-11-15[1]) is an Indian politician and social worker. She is an MP in the 15th Lok Sabha from Unnao, Uttar Pradesh with the Indian National Congress party.
Tandon is the founder director of the Hriday Narain Dhawan Charitable Trust, which has been active in philanthropy in the district since before 2000.[2] The charity, funded mostly through family funds, has worked in education, and gathered attention for innovative projects like helping children of illiterate parents with their homework.The charity also works with weaker groups like widows and the handicapped.[4] She was also associated with Rehabilitation wing of the Congress party.
She was earlier managing MoTech Software Pvt. Ltd, a firm launched by Mukesh Ambani, and also ran Salonica Vasans, a textile export firm.
She has a B.Sc. degree from Dayanand Subhash National Post Graduate College, Unnao

Family
She is the widow to Late Sandeep Tandon, who was a top liaison executive of Reliance Industries Ltd. Before joining Reliance in 1994, he was with the Indian Revenue Service.[4] As an officer of the Enforcement Directorate, Tandon had investigated foreign front companies floated by Reliance, and also conducted a raid on the house of Tina Ambani.
The entire family has close connections with Mukesh Ambani, two of their sons also being employees of Reliance.
She had declared assets of 41 crores (USD 10 mn) in the 2009 election declarations.

2009 elections
In the Indian general election in Uttar Pradesh, 2009, Annu Tandon was fielded as a novice political candidate by the Congress. Unnao is India's largest electoral constituency, and in the previous general elections in 2004, Congress had come up fourth here, and the seat had been won by the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
During the elections, many prominent personalities including film star Salman Khan campaigned for her.
She won by a margin of more than 300,000 votes over BSP's Arun Shanker, the third highest margin in UP.
