UPTET 2011 : HC asks UP to file counter-affidavit on official's bail plea

Allahabad, Apr 11 (PTI) The Allahabad High Court today asked the Uttar Pradesh government to file its counter- affidavit on a bail application of a former director of the Secondary Education department who has been in jail in connection with alleged irregularities in Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) held last year. Justice S C Agrawal, while fixing April 23 as the next date of hearing on the bail application of Sanjay Mohan, asked the state government to file its counter-affidavit by that date. Mohan was arrested on February 7 in connection with alleged irregularities in TET which was held on November 13, 2011. He was suspended a day later.
